Projects
Cumberland Project
The Cumberland Project will provide up to 245,000 dekatherms per day of additional natural gas transportation to the Project shipper to support the shipper’s proposed retirement and replacement of an existing coal fired power plant with a natural gas fired, combined cycle power plant.

East 300 Upgrade Project
The East 300 Upgrade Project will increase natural gas capacity on the existing Tennessee Gas Pipeline system by 115,000 dekatherms per day (Dth/day) to meet the specified market need of Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. The increased transportation capacity and access to the natural gas supplies will help eliminate capacity constraints in the Northeast region, especially during periods of peak demand, ensuring that the area is able to meet residential, commercial, and industrial heating and cooling needs.

Evangeline Pass Expansion Project
The Evangeline Pass Expansion Project is designed to provide up to 2.0 million dekatherms per day (Dth/d) of additional natural gas capacity on Kinder Morgan’s Tennessee Gas Pipeline (TGP) and Southern Natural Gas (SNG) systems in Louisiana and Mississippi. The project involves building 9.1 miles of 36-inch diameter pipeline in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana, and 4 miles of 36-inch pipeline in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. It will also include two new compressor stations located in Clarke County, Mississippi, and St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana, and modifications to existing facilities on both the TGP and SNG systems.

Kinetrex Landfill-Based RNG Facilities Project
Kinetrex Energy (Kinetrex), a Kinder Morgan, Inc. company, is constructing three renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities in Indiana. The three sites are located at the Twin Bridges Landfill in Danville, the Prairie View Landfill in Wyatt and the Liberty Landfill in Monticello. The new RNG facilities are designed to capture methane produced from landfills and convert that methane into pipeline-quality natural gas. This capture process reduces or eliminates greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions at the landfill and provides low-cost, efficient renewable energy. Upon completion, the total annual RNG capacity from all facilities is estimated to be more about 3.9 billion cubic feet (bcf).
